Description

Handmade ceramic asymmetrical plates, made from sandy stoneware clay. Each piece is shaped and glazed entirely by hand, creating a gorgeous organic feel with no two pieces exactly the same. The surface of each piece is hand-brushed with a non-toxic, food-safe matte/glossy glaze, leaving the edges of and base of the plate with a vitrified stone-like surface with a tactile feel.

As with any handcrafted object, please handle with love and care. Hand washing is advised.

All our ceramics are hand-made in Greece.

Variations and irregularities may occur in size, shape, color & glaze, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind.

All our ceramics are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. They are oven and dishwasher safe, however we do recommend taking care as they are handmade of limited quantity. Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example from the oven to a cold benchtop) as this is likely to cause thermal shock which can result in the piece cracking.

 

NOTE: To prevent glaze scratches we recommend storing your ceramics in plate racks or with a soft cloth between each piece. To keep your pieces beautiful, avoid contact with staining foods or liquids on unglazed surfaces.
