Description
In the frescoes of the palace of Knossos, women in elegant clothes that left their breasts uncovered showed the powerful position that the woman of the neo-palatial era of 1600 BC had in worship and in public events.
Keeping in mind the emancipated woman of the Minoan era, we created this specific vessel to inspire the modern woman with the lifestyle and values that the woman mother, priestess, deity of the distant past had.
Vessel crafted on the potter’s wheel out of a high temperature clay and decorated with white glossy glaze. The horizontal and vertical handle refer to the mastos [Gr: μαστός] vessel of antiquity.
