A workshop that got its name from the etymology of the word ‘homatino’ which means made of fine-grained earth (soil) or clay.

Homatino Ceramics Workshop began when Efcharis and Nikos, having their teacher and father Michael by their side, further developed their workshop which their father had begun in 1976 in Kalogreza, into a modern space for exploration and creation.

The Snow collection made its debut at the refined gallery @moncoinstudio.monastiraki ,hosted within the warm and thoughtful space of dear ceramicist and friend @eleonore_trenadofinetis .Each piece is either wheel-thrown or hand-built with coils, preserving the authenticity of the maker’s gesture. We are truly excited to introduce our new collection of wall vessels, which made its debut at the Xenia exhibition last November.During the event, we had the pleasure of engaging with architects and interior designers, exploring the potential of creating large-scale compositions for hotel lobbies—pieces designed to stand as striking statement installations.The use of different clays allows for a rich variety of textures, an essential element in contemporary spaces, where the warmth of each surface comes together in a harmonious dialogue.This is only the beginning.
